Lord, awaken this sleeping heart.
Strip away the crushing stress, the oppressive obligation.
Strip away the dull, lifeless charade.
Strip away the pleasantries, hiding pain and purposelessness.
Let this heart truly live, truly pulsate with Your life.
The only life.

AMEN and AMEN! When God strips away all the stress and charades and we let people see us for who we really are, I think then we are just starting to be useful in the kingdom! I had 2 friends in the last week just devestated because they went through a trial in front of their unsaved families and were so discouraged that these unsaved people saw them struggling. That their witness was tarnished and possibly they had to start being “perfect” all over again. What pressure! I love it, keep writing!
I think being real in front of lost people speaks volumes more than being “perfect”.
Being perfect is too perfectly impossible. =)
